Right guys, I’ve been MIA for quite a while, suppose I got my college degree to thank for that. I’m in the last 2 weeks of college right now and things are hectic. So, with that in mind, I decided to cut a quick showreel last night. It’s short, sappy and to the point. I’ve only worked on a handful of projects this year, so I have tried to make a reel that doesn’t repeat to much, but gives you a feel for the variety of work I enjoy making.
I’m not sure how much I’m going to post on keyframe kid, as I’ve been putting a lot of effort into my main blog and online presence (www.sefsar.com). I will make the effort when possible.
Hey guys, back again after a little break. Right, so in this video I will show you how to create the sort of effect you might see on a morning tv show. It’s more about the basic skills you will learn in the tutorial rather than the end result.
If you’ve got any questions put them in the comments and I’ll do my best to help out. You can keep in touch with updates by following me on twitter or subscribe to the feed.
Okay guys, quick and easy job this time. Basic ram export from after effects, which should do the job nicely. Render times will vary depending on the piece your working on, ram and some other things but if you feel it isn’t loading as quick as you would like maybe buy a new system?
Hey guys, just to let you know that I am working a brand new tutorial which should be released very soon. See above for preview. I will take you through the steps to create this animation. It’ll will be easy to follow, succinct and suitable for any level. I hope you guys will find it useful. Follow me on twitter or subscribe to the blog too keep track of updates.
If you’ve got any ideas you’d like to see as tutorials feel free to let me know, I’m happy to help and learn whenever possible!
Hey guys, this is a post about a project I’m working on at the moment whereby I have to interpret ‘Scissors’ a poem by Irish poet, Tony Curtis. This is the current state I am at with the animation so it’s early days yet. Here is a selction of images I’m thinking of including in the final piece! Keep tuned for updates. If you’ve got any questions make sure to leave a comment and I’ll be happy to get back at you. In the mean time, make sure you subscribe by RSS or Email, or follow me on twitter. Thanks guys!
Hey, my name is Youssef Sarhan and I'm a graphic design student. I am from Dublin, Ireland and I'm studying at The National College of Art & Design. As a graphic designer I mainly work on printed design but hopefully this will serve as a platform to explore, share and discuss motion design, lets all get involved and share our experience.
